Have you ever gone to a doctor’s office or anywhere with a Waiting Room — and swore that you would never go back there – because the Receptionist wasn’t pleasant? We probably have all experienced that at one time or another. Fifteen years ago, I immigrated to the US from the Philippines, and earned a degree in Business. For many years I worked in “ Retail ”, despite the fact that it really wasn’t the right position for me, as I am both shy and overly-curious, and those traits are not ideal for a Salesperson. When I accepted Eddie’s opportunity for a part-time Receptionist, I wanted to project a cheerful and welcoming demeanor that would encourage clients to always want to come back to our shop. Well, now it’s three years later, and I couldn’t have asked for a better job! I get to speak with many interesting people, listen-in on Eddie’s conversations with his clients, and enjoy watching the world unfold from my private view of First Avenue. I like it so much, I now work 6 days a week!
